When would anything like this be appropriate nowadays? I love the style because I like seeing a regal appearance in dress. What occassions would it be appropriate to where anything like this today? (Perhaps an orchestra concert, the opera,…?)
A costume party, or a Victorian theme wedding.
Or you could be daring and wear it when ever you like, I have a customer at my work who wears a kilt all the time and sometimes they look more like a skirt.
