Who else is pissed about Tonka’s bias??
The new commercial out for Tonka toys is completly putting young boys into a stereotypical role of ‘being built differently.’ What do they mean differently? Girls can’t play with trucks? OH PLEASE!!! Hasbro toys has another thing coming to them if they are going to completly write off all of their female clients. Who agrees with me?
Actually, I’m glad you said to put 50 girls and boys with trucks and dolls. I observed at a preschool center in my area and it was clear that boys do not only play in as much doll play as girls, but in very similar ways. put that in you pipe and smoke it
Boys and girls are different, but that doesn’t mean we should pigeon-hole them. If girls want to play with trucks, than why not sell them to them? If boys dolls, make them some dolls. It is bizarre how toy companies alienate their own potential markets.
