Old Antiques

How to sell 150-year-old antiques?

I have some antiques, they are an inheritance from Grandpa. They date back to well before the Iranian Revolution. Some items are porcelain vases and bowls that were gifts from British Monarchs to Persian Rulers. Also, there are some very old old old carpets. These items are in Iran and I want to figure out how to appraise and sell them.

Why not selling them to the government, or the Iranian museums? Any national heritage must stay inside that nation.
