What do you think of Tori Amos’ new album?

Hey…just want to hear what people think of American Doll Posse…love it? Think its an epic masterpiece, a brilliant concept? Or do you think it is horrible and slightly egotistical? Personally I feel a little of both…have been a fan since I was 12 in the 90’s. I am glad to see the rocker come back out, and some of the songs are heartbreakingly gorgeous….but it’s bogged down with over dramatic overly airbrushed photos, with the girls in au couture looking waify…what happened to au natural Tori…I think she was more beautiful then.

Yes I bought American Doll Posse yesterday and have listened to it several times so far. The songs themselves are very good. MUCH better than the beekeeper. I especially like the ones that “Clyde” sings…”bouncing off clouds”, “girl disappearing”. The characters make it really interesting because they really are like listening to 5 different people.

As for it being egotistical….yeah it is but Tori’s always been kind of egotistical. The pictures are like….some of them don’t even look like her they’re so airbrushed. Oh well, it’s an interesting change from the old “indian mother earth” thing she had going on.
