How much stuff do you really have for your kids?

I was at a friends house, and was shocked at the amount of dolls and stuff she has. Piles of teddy bears, at least 30 dolls, toys that were broken and forgot about, and so many games. I am shocked because we have a lot of toys, but they are organized properly. Each girl has 2 dolls, a crib, and a stroller. Then we have a high chair, swing, and changing table for them to share. Do you have a ton of things like that?
This is what we have:

At the end of each month, we go through our toys. Anything we don’t use, we give away. We explained to my siblings (age 10, 8, 5, 2, 2, 2) that giving away your toys is important, because not all kids have toys to play with. We have gotten rid of so much stuff! And nobody misses it at all. Think about it: if it’s buried in your closet for 3 years and you don’t know it’s there, when you find it, you don’t “Need it”.
