Volks Dollfie BJD Help? I’m starting out..?
So i’ve Always wanted to have a collection of dolls, and to take pretty pictures of them and stuff, but i never knew what type of dolls to get, or if there was even any kind of brand of dolls. Last night i came across Volks Dollfies.. And i want one 
I don’t know where to start off though. I don’t know the prices, and i hardly know anything about them. I know they will be expensive, and then the extra price for the hair and clothing and stuff…
I would love a little doll, They do the 20cm ones dont they..? Or even smaller then that is they do.
I come from England, and im only 14 and would probably have to pay for the dolls myself.
Can anybody give me any help with what type of doll to get?

The 22-27cm ones by Volks are not BJDs even though some people mistakenly call them that. BJDs are usually made of resin, have ball and socket joints (Ball Joint Doll = BJD), and are strung together with elastic. The Larger Volks are BJDs. The small Volks are their plastic “dollfies” and they are jointed but not strung, not ball-socket joints.
There are two main brands of the plastic 1/6 (dollfie size) jointed dolls
Volks
Obitsu
and a thrid company makes one new kind
Parabox (makes Neko – more expensive)
Volks or Ebay are the two main places to get Volks dollfies. I do not know if Volks has a Europe store. here is the US store Dollfie section

My personal opinion – I like the Obitsu 21/23cm bodies with this Obitsu head 21HD-F03W
It makes a smaller-than-Barbie size doll. I just like the look of the head. Below the “muffin head” here – the little human looking eyehole head
