Beanie Knitting Pattern

Does anyone know how to knit a beanie hat?

My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up and he was telling me how he needs a new beanie. I was wanting to knit one for him. I have never knitted before, but I found some videos on the internet and I think I could learn. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites or patterns to knit a beanie. Also, if the patterns could be rather easy, that would be awesome! Thanks!

Hello! To knit a beanie hat, I usually use a circular knitting needle. Cast on 68 stitches. Follow by knitting 2, then purl 2 stitches and when to the end of the first row, do not turn. Continue on and connect the first row. After this, you will be knitting a round tube shape until you have measured 10 inches in length. Next, you will knit two together (which will be decreasing) then purl one stitch. The next row, knit. The next row, knit two together all the way around. Then you will pull each stitch off the needle and pull top closed. (I usually slip a few rounds of the yarn before tying it off). You have then made your first beanie………….enjoy
