“Astronaut” barbies are the new kinds of barbies. Companies are trying to make barbies to be intelligent instead of just pretty, They have barbie doctors, vets, scientists, lifeguards, etc.
Since girls are the ones that play with barbie, it is normal for Ken to not be a big part of it. Girls want to play with girl barbies, not boys.
