50th Anniversary Barbie Doll
themes for a food technology design folio?
Hey everyone!
I’m having trouble thinking of a theme for my senior year food tech folio.
There must be an event that we have to cater for and we must create a hamper for the attendees to take home.
Some past folio themes include:
> A formal dinner for Barbie’s 50th anniversary. It included dishes such as peppermint ice cream; this tied in with the Barbie theme because there is a Barbie called Peppermint Princess. All of the other dishes tied in with the names of various Barbie dolls too.
> A formal dinner marking the anniversary of the release of the film, Some Like it Hot. Each dish contained chili.
These are just a few examples. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Not sure if it needs to be time accurate, but you could use Dr. Suess’s birthday.. and have a full line of Green Eggs and Ham.. and Buttered bread.. (with butter side up and butter side down of course..).
There is a world of options with Dr. Seuss.. and its fun in the process..
Or you could do a Welcome back Strawberry Shortcake.. with all sorts of food related ideas there from apple dumpling, and Huckleberry Pie, to Ginger Snap, and Angel Cake.. soo many ideas.. here is a website telling more bout them
